Turn the dial to feed the wires through faster or slower. Instead of a simple on/off function, the motor can run at a variable speed. Then you’d strip the inner wires using the smallest die. First, you’ll feed through the cable and remove the inner wires. The rectangular die is made for ROMEX cable, but keep in mind that it will require two passes. On the larger side, you can feed up to 250 MCM, which is a wire with an 0.79-inch outside diameter. Even so, it’s nice to have the capability.
